Welcome to the weird and wonderful world of the Barents Spektakel festival, hosted in Kirkenes, Norway. During the 2019 program, as a projection of a possible future reality, the town transformed into The World’s Northernmost Chinatown.
Artists, experts and the community were invited to contribute to this possible future north — creating projects that play on suspicions or dispel myths, that welcome with open arms or tread carefully into the future.
